5 Wellness Brands Worth the $$

There are A LOT of brands on the market in the wellness industry. Which is wonderful and gives people endless options for all types of needs. It can also be a little bit confusing or deceiving. If you’re wondering which wellness brands are totally worth it, I’ve got you covered. Here are some of my favorite brands and products they make.

Beauty By Earth

Growing up in California, I had a tan line pretty much year-round. When I went to Texas for my undergrad, that changed. You don’t get the luxury of lying by the pool or going to the beach in February. Girls were constantly self-tanning, so I joined. I always felt weird about putting chemicals on my body. Especially in recent years, I’ve begun to understand that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it. That’s why Beauty By Earth is one of my favorite clean skincare brands. Their products are cruelty-free, paraben-free, and made with all-natural ingredients. And they make a darn good self-tanning lotion that I love to use when I need a little extra sun-baked boost. They are also launching a baking soda and aluminum-free natural deodorant. I refuse to use deodorants that block your pores, leaving chemicals seeping into one of the most concentrated areas of lymph nodes in your body (which means it spreads throughout your entire body). But it’s hard to find a natural deodorant that really works. This one does. Another favorite of mine is their hydrating oil. Because I have naturally dry skin, I am obsessed with oils. This oil leaves my skin feeling smooth and plump.

Sakara Life

I have been working with and using Sakara for almost a year now, and I am a huge fan. I had been eyeing their products for a while, but to be honest, I was skeptical. I wasn’t sure if it was worth the price, but I’m here to tell you it is 100% worth it. I love all of their products. I never work with companies I don’t love, but Sakara is high on my list of true favorites. Their meal programs are definitely a splurge, but I finish every program feeling INCREDIBLE. No bloat, lots of energy, and generally happier. The meals are filling and delicious. Plus, I get to take in new nutrients because they do superfood spotlights that are unique and offer a variety of benefits. They make it easy to know I’m getting good, clean nutrients in my body during busy weeks. Another Sakara favorite is the Metabolism Super Powder. Despite the name, this powder isn’t going to suddenly give you a super speed metabolism causing you to burn calories at lightning speed. But it does do wonders for digestion, energy, and bloat. I notice a difference right away and when I’m taking it consistently, even more so. I also love their nutrient dense bars. These bars just got a new look - I can’t wait to try the new flavors and delicious ingredients.

Highline Wellness

I have tried countless CBD brands. As someone who runs a bit high-strung, CBD is a game-changer. I especially love it at night to help me sleep when my mind gets going. Highline Wellness CBD is one of the few brands that I notice a difference. First, I am obsessed with their CBD + Melatonin oil (they also offer gummies if that’s your thing). Regular melatonin can sometimes leave me feeling groggy in the morning and give me weird dreams at night. It also makes my body tired, but my mind continues to race. The combination of CBD and melatonin is what does wonders. The melatonin helps you fall asleep, and the CBD enables you to stay asleep by quieting your mind and calming your thoughts. It’s the best of both worlds. I am also a massive fan of their CBD + B12. B12 is vital for energy levels and mental health. As someone who doesn’t consume much animal product, getting my B12 from other sources other than dietary sources is critical. The combination of CBD actually increases the bioavailability of B12, making it easier to absorb into our bodies.

Clevr Blends

If you haven’t tried adaptogens yet, then you’re making a big mistake. Adaptogens are basically plant-derived sources that benefit your body in areas of health such as Sleep, energy, brain function, memory, cognition, digestion, and more. Clevr Blends adaptogenic lattes are a daily ritual for me. Seriously, I rarely go a day without them. Not only are they absolutely delicious and made with clean ingredients, but they also make me feel amazing. No caffeine jitters or midday slumps. They have everything from coffee lattes, turmeric, chai, and rose cocoa lattes. I personally am obsessed with their Chai and Matcha Plus, their newest product, Sleep, is amazing for winding down. If you’re looking for an extra wellness boost during the day or want to kick coffee, I highly recommend Clevr lattes.

MyGirl Wellness

My Girl products focus a lot on digestion. The founder, Tayla Burke, might be the queen of debloat. They’re your gut’s best friend. One of my favorite products is Eat Your Heart Out. This is a blend of digestive enzymes that help break down what your body can’t. I have tried countless digestive enzymes, mostly because I love cheese, but it doesn’t love me, and Eat Your Heart Out is one that actually works. The first time I tried it, I was in shock. I went to my favorite pasta spot and indulged a little in some creamy, cheesy pasta. Instead of lying in bed feeling like I had knives stabbing my insides, I felt completely fine. I was shocked. This isn’t a product I take every day. If you need digestive enzymes with every meal, take a closer look at your gut (they also have probiotics that help with this!). Another sometimes necessary product of theirs I love is the You Go Girl. This is especially great after traveling when my digestion isn’t on point. If you’ve ever been, um, backed up after a plane ride, you know what I mean. You Go Girl helps you ~gently~ flush out. I also love this brand because of their transparency and authenticity. Nothing is taboo to them. From pooping to sex, they discuss it all and I really appreciate it.
